Call for Papers on Economic and Strategic Impacts of Energy Supply and Transport Infrastructure – Connecting Asia and Europe
The Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) organizes together with the Department of Asian Studies at Palacký University in Olomouc and the National University of Singapore (NUS) a paper development workshop in Tokyo on 26-27 May 2019. The contributions should assess the effects of infrastructure development connecting Asia and Europe and detailing recommendations to policy makers from Central Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia for fostering regional cooperation and integration.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: infrastructure investment and financing; energy trade and infrastructure; trade and infrastructure connectivity; drivers and barriers of infrastructure investments; policy, regulations and governance; national strategies; and case studies.
Abstracts of about 300 words should be submitted no later than 30 November 2019. Early applications including a full paper are preferred. Authors of selected papers will be notified by 30 December 2019. A full draft paper should be submitted by 29 February 2020. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit their papers for publication in a special issue of a peer-reviewed journal or book.
