Call for Submissions: Asian Development Perspectives

The editors welcome submissions for possible publication in the 2023/2 issue of Asian Development Perspectives and cordially invite you to submit your manuscript to the Managing Editor (Dr. Donata Bessey) at adev@yonsei.ac.kr before March 15, 2023.
Asian Development Perspectives publishes original research on all topics related to development research. Established in 2010 as the Journal of Poverty Alleviation and International Development, our goal is to become an academic forum that connects cutting-edge academic research findings with actual policies and practices and encourages the discussion of issues related to development from all relevant academic perspectives, enabling researchers and practitioners to find solutions for urgent problems in the field.
The journal is published by the Institute of Poverty Alleviation and International Development at Yonsei University’s Mirae Campus.
We encourage the submission of both theoretical and empirical original articles that investigate and analyze the following topics from single and multi-disciplinary perspectives, without any restrictions regarding country, region, or scientific discipline of the analysis:
- Poverty and poverty alleviation
- Environmental degradation
- Malnutrition and disease
- Climate change
- Economic and social inequality
- Political suppression, human rights violations, gender and ethnic discrimination
- Others.
Asian Development Perspectives uses a double-blind peer-review process, and we strive to communicate a first decision about manuscripts to authors within 90 days from submission. Submissions should not be longer than approximately 9000 words.
All accepted submissions are published as open access articles free of charge to the authors.
