Vortrag: „Neue und alte Dynamiken in den Beziehungen über die Taiwanstraße“ am 18.05.2017

Einladung zur Vortragsveranstaltung „Neue und alte Dynamiken in den Beziehungen über die Taiwanstraße“. Die Veranstaltung findet am Donnerstag den 18.05.2017 um 19 Uhr statt. Der Veranstaltungsort ist das Restaurant „Ni Hao“ in der Wandsbeker Zollstrasse 25-29 in Hamburg. Der Vortrag findet im Anschluss an die Bambusrunde statt, welche schon um 18 Uhr beginnt. Nach dem Vortrag wird Essen angeboten.

Call for Papers: EATS Conference „Sustainable Taiwan“ in Zurich, 4—6 April 2018

The 15th Annual Conference of the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS) will take place in Zurich, Switzerland, 4-6 April 2018. The theme of the conference is „Sustainable Taiwan„. Call for papers is now open. The deadline for submission of abstracts to regular panels is 31 August 2017. The deadline for submission of abstracts to MA panels is 31 October 2017.

Announcement: Fifth “Young Scholars Workshop” at the CCKF-ERCCT Summer 2017

Deadline for Applications: 30.03.2017

The European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan – A CCK Foundation Overseas Center at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen will hold a workshop for emerging young scholars from 2 July to 9 July, 2017 .
This year’s workshop will place a particular emphasis on the subject: “Taiwan in the Global Arena” However, papers on other topics related to Taiwan and cross-Strait relations are also welcome.

Fellowship Programmes at the European Research Center on Cenemporary Taiwan

The European Research Center on Contemporay Taiwan – A CCK Foundation Overseas Center (CCKF-ERCCT) at the University of Tübingen, Germany, offers two fellowship programmes which are now open for applications.

The ERCCT Fellowship 2016 is a full research scholarship awarded to young scholars from the social sciences working on contemporary Taiwan or cross-strait relations. It is awarded for two years (can be extended to a third year for Ph.D. students). Deadline for applications is 20th June 2016.
