CfP: International Journal of Taiwan Studies (IJTS)
The International Journal of Taiwan Studies (IJTS, https://brill.com/view/journals/ijts/ijts-overview.xml), cosponsored by Academia Sinica and the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS), is a principal outlet for the dissemination of cutting-edge research on Taiwan. Its editorial office is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and is hosted by the Centre of Taiwan Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. IJTS is an affiliate journal of the North American Taiwan Studies Association (NATSA) also one of the partner organisations of the Japan Association for Taiwan Studies (JATS).
IJTS is the first internationally collaborative, multidisciplinary, and peer-reviewed academic research journal in English dedicated to all aspects of Taiwan studies, including social sciences, arts and humanities, and topics which are interdisciplinary in nature. This publication on Taiwan studies, a rapidly growing field with an increasingly critical influence, aims to reach academics and policy makers of different cultural backgrounds, disciplinary perspectives and methodological approaches. IJTS is indexed by ESCI (Web of Science), Scopus, and ERIH Plus among other indexing and abstracting platforms.
IJTS welcomes submission of original research papers (6,000–12,000 words) that are localised in focus (e.g. analysis of a specific historical or current event) and that are more global in their outlook (e.g. forging links between Taiwan and a wider international, cultural or theoretical/intellectual context). Researchers are encouraged to position Taiwan and the relevant issues they examine in different global, regional, and local contexts and processes.
Please follow our Instructions for Authors (https://brill.com/fileasset/downloads_products/Author_Instructions/IJTS.pdf) and send your manuscript via the Editorial Manager (EM) online submission system at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/ijtsbrill/default2.aspx. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to write to the IJTS Editorial Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to receiving your research articles!
