CfP – Workshop on Digital Governance in Chinese Smart Cities

We seek in particular original work on:

• the nexus between Chinese smart city experiments and digital infrastructure provision
• comparative case-studies on modes of governance of smart city infrastructure
• governance factors for the failure and success of smart city pilot projects
• consequences of smart city projects for society and environment

Please send an abstract (300-350 words) to infrastructure-smartcity@gmx.de until February 15^th , 2019.

Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to attend a workshop on May 24^th, 2019 at Freie Universität Berlin.

The special issue is part of a research project Infrastructure provision in China at Freie Universität Berlin and is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
