Conference in Berlin on “Labor Market Policy and Political Participation in France, Germany and Japan”

The German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ), L’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, and the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB) jointly organized two workshops in Paris (October 2017) and Tokyo (December 2018) on labor market liberalization in France, Germany and Japan and the social and political consequences, also for our democratic systems.

Labor Market Policy and Political Participation in France, Germany and Japan

on Wednesday, June 19, 2019

at the Japanese-German Center Berlin, Saargemuender Str. 2, Berlin.

Scholars and representatives from politics, labor unions, industry and social movements will discuss similarities and differences in the three countries and will analyze possible consequences for political participation in France, Japan and Germany.

The conference will be held in English. A preliminary programme can be downloaded from our website.
