The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne invites applications for 11 doctoral positions in the newly established Research Training Group “anschließen – ausschließen – Cultural Dynamics Beyond Globalized Networks“, a joint project with the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) and TH Köln (University of Applied Sciences), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The positions are advertised for the following doctoral disciplines: Digital Humanities, German Philology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Comparative Literature, Art History, Romance Philology, Chinese Studies, Regional Studies China, Regional Studies Latin America, and Theatre and Media Studies. The position is available from Oct. 1st, 2021 on a part-time basis (65%/25,89 hours a week). It is limited to 3 years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
