17th EATS conference in Brussel, 6-8 April 2020 /Application for the Young Scholar Awards, 31th of August 2019

We are delighted to announce the call for papers for the 17th EATS conference co-organised  by the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and KU Leuven Campus Brussels. Taking place at the ULB, Brussels, 6-8 April 2020, the conference theme, Narrating Taiwan – Re-imagining, re-writing, and re-connecting Taiwan, seeks to interrogate the conflicting narratives that have been shaping Taiwan’s past and present through lenses as diverse as media, literature, music, theater, performance, film, photography, language and art. We also invite submissions to the 2020 Young Scholar Awards (YSA), the final selection of which will be decided at the conference after the finalists’ presentations.
