CfA: Assistant Professor of East Asian History

The History Department at Missouri State University is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in East Asian History beginning August 2025. A Ph.D in History or a related field is required within one year of employment. The successful candidate will demonstrate preparation to teach World History, both halves of our East Asian survey, and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of specialty in both online and seated formats. That candidate must also demonstrate preparation to teach at least one of the department’s methods/research and writing courses (HST 210, 394, 390 and/or 598).
