CfA: CUHK-MAICS Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship

CUHK’s MA in Intercultural Studies Programme (MAICS) invites applicants for its new CUHK-MAICS Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship. Selected applicants will receive a full tuition scholarship. For this inaugural round, citizens of ASEAN (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam), Brazil, India, and South Africa are eligible to apply.

We are looking for applicants who are leaders or trailblazers in different fields of cultural work and whose race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and nationality are not fully represented in our student body. We also welcome the applications of aspiring scholars who have plans to undertake doctoral research with the potential to make a significant contribution to Cultural Studies and its related fields.

CUHK is 6th and 45th in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Asian and World University Rankings. MAICS is an interdisciplinary program at the cutting-edge of Film & Screen Studies, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Inter-Asia Studies, Urban Humanities, Science & Technology Studies, and Environmental Humanities. 

Applicants for the scholarship will first need to apply to the program https://www2.crs.cuhk.edu.hk/maics/admission-information. Eligible applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio of their work.
