Ihre Aufgabenschwerpunkte / Your main tasks

  • Assistance in teaching and research (teaching load 2h per semester) in the fields of Political Science and/or East Asian Politics
  • Participation in the organization of workshops, conferences and the publication and transfer of research results
  • Engagement in the self-governance of the university and in the self-organization of the scientific community

Ihr Profil / Your profile

  • Excellent Master degree in Political Science (or Chinese Studies in combination with social sciences)
  • Excellent English skills, Chinese as well as  German language skills are an additional advantage
  •  Mastery of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  •  The successful applicant is expected to start a new PhD project on East Asia/China and global governance (e.g., enery issues, climate change, global security).
