CfA: Research Assistant (f/m/x) (60% position), ‘Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) in China as a Tool of Innovation for Global Technological Leadership’

We invite applications for a position as Research Assistant (f/m/x) (60% position).
The position is limited for two years and will support the externally funded research project ‘Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) in China as a Tool of Innovation for Global Technological Leadership’. The project runs in association with the Sino-German Center of Finance and Economics (SGC) and the Frankfurt Institute for Private Equity and M&A (FIPEMA) at Frankfurt School.
Your tasks include independent quantitative and qualitative research on China’s (corporate) venture capital market including econometric data analysis; drafting papers with the aim of publishing it in leading scientific journals, and support of the management of the project including preparation of scientific colloquiums and conferences as well as expert interviews.
The starting date of the position is April 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven interest in China and a postgraduate degree in finance or related fields. We require econometric skills and very good command of English; Mandarin and German is a plus. The candidate could be a PhD-student.
