Dear Colleagues

The Berlin-based Forum Transregionale Studien and the Max Weber Stiftung – Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland in cooperation with the National University Singapore invite applications from doctoral and postdoctoral scholars of humanities and social sciences to participate in the Transregional Academy on the theme “ Infrastructures, Regions and Urbanizations”  to be held from 29th September to 7th October 2018 at the National University of Singapore.

TheAcademy aims to provide a forum for scholars from different disciplines who are interested in discussing and exchanging on contemporary and historical cases, and diverse and dissident approaches to these questions of infrastructures, regions and urbanization. The Academy is designed to support innovative research, scholarly networks and contribute to closer ties among research activities.

Participants will receive grants that cover the costs of travel and accommodation. Please find the announcement attached in a PDF format. The deadline for applications is April 8th, 2018.
