CfP: Journal of American-East Asian Relations

The Journal of American-East Asian Relations (JAER) is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal of inter-disciplinary historical, cross-cultural, and social science scholarship from all parts of the world. The scope includes diplomatic, economic, security, and cultural relations, as well as Asian-American history. Geographical coverage includes the United States, Canada, other countries in the Americas, and East Asia, typically China, Japan, and Korea, but also the Pacific area, Australasia, Southeast Asia, and the Russian East Asia. The JAER provides publishing opportunities to authors who wish to contribute new insights and perspectives to the knowledge base on historical events in American-East Asian Relations. The journal is also open to guest editors who wish to publish a special issue presenting three or four articles dedicated to a specific theme in this area of historical inquiry. To expand and enrich the scope of scholarly knowledge available to our readership as well as to increase the visibility of your research, please submit a contribution for publication consideration to the JAER.
