H-Asia Call for Editors

H-Asia is seeking new network editors to join its editorial team!
H-Asia is uniquely positioned on the H-Net Commons to promote scholarly discussion and disseminate open access information, research materials, and teaching aids.
H-Asia enables historians and other Asia scholars to easily communicate current research and teaching interests; to discuss new articles, books, papers, approaches, methods and tools of analysis; to test new ideas and share comments and tips on teaching. H-Asia is especially committed to discussing region wide, comparative and professional issues important to scholars of Asia.
If you are a scholar or teacher in Asian studies at any stage of your career and you are seeking ways to become more involved in your discipline, please consider volunteering with H-Asia.
Why become a network editor on an H-Net network? H-Net networks provide free, open access content to their academic communities, and editors play an essential role in shaping their fields of study, disseminating information and resources, and making connections between like-minded scholars and collaborators. H-Net networks each come preloaded with an existing audience that includes academics at different stages of their careers, from graduate students to early career and senior scholars, independent scholars, and other professionals. Annual visits to individual networks range into the tens of thousands. Our network editors gain extensive experience with safeguarding academic best practices, facilitating communication and collaboration, and enjoying the freedom to create meaningful academic content.
