Job Opening: Goethe University Frankfurt, PhD/Post Doc in Economics/Management

Ph.D. research position / Post Doc
(E13 TV-G-U, part-time 50%)

The position is initially available from 01.09.2018 for three years (with an option to extend for further three years).

The position provides a great opportunity for independent research, and in particular for preparation of a doctoral dissertation or habilitation.

Responsibilities for the position include collaboration in running research projects of the Chair and contribution to the preparation of lectures and seminars and to the advising of term papers, Bachelor and Master Thesis, and collaboration in running research projects of the Chair.

The candidates are expected to show an interest in institutional theory and innovation economics. Requirements are an above-average Master or “Diplom” degree from an international or national university either in Economics and Business Administration, or in a regional science with focus on Economics. An interest in Japan and East Asia is desirable but not essential.
