The Shapoorji Pallonji Institute of Zoroastrian Studies and WZO are pleased to invite you to this year’s annual lecture. Prof Pavel Lurje will delve into mural paintings, archeology, and written texts to understand the significance of this ritual practice. This will be a lecture of great interest not only to our colleagues in Buddhist studies but also to those in the fields of art and archeology, history, religion, Central Asia, Sogdiana, and other disciplines.
