Symposium (Berlin): Ahead of G20 — Artificial Intelligence and Innovation
The Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB), the German Economic Institute (IW Köln), and the Fujitsu Research Institute (FRI) would like to invite you to the symposium
“Ahead of G20 — Artificial Intelligence and Innovation”
on June 25 and 26, 2019
at the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB), Saargemünder Str. 2, Berlin.
During the symposium, the implications of AI for our industries, economies, societies and politics will be discussed from German and Japanese perspectives and its impact for new technologies will be assessed. The program will include discussions on ethical questions, such as how and to what extent AI can be beneficial for a human-centered society as well as approaches to international standardization. Opportunities to strengthen German/European-Japanese cooperation in the field of AI and its regulations will be considered by various groups of stakeholders and experts from politics, industry, academia and research.
