About the Conference

The Thinking Futures in Asia conference will bring together early-career researchers to explore visions, narratives, and strategies for the future in Asia. As a region marked by rapid transformations—including technological advancements, environmental challenges, religious differentiation, and shifting geopolitical dynamics—Asia’s future is shaped by diverse actors, ideas, and policies. This conference aims to critically examine these future-oriented discourses and practices from multidisciplinary perspectives.
